The agricultural sector is relying more and more on the employment of workers hired from outside of Canada. Britco’s modular solutions for employee housing complexes have been designed specifically to meet those needs.
With the complex being built off site, there was no impact on the land or the business operations during construction. There are four quadrants per building, with each one independent of the others. Each quadrant consists of two bedrooms with a shared washroom, a common living room, fully-equipped kitchen and an eating area. The bedrooms include two sets of bunk beds, a large closet, desk and chair. The kitchens feature custom millwork cabinets and quality appliances including two refrigerators and stacking washer/dryer. Each of the four cooking areas has a high capacity exhaust fan to keep clean air moving through the building. The plumbing fixtures are low-flow for reduced water consumption to minimize the amount of waste water.
