Comfort and function weren’t the only requirements given the Britco Construction design team when we were asked to provide employee housing for Manning Park, a busy, year-round resort located in the southern part of the province. We also had to make sure that the housing would be able to withstand extreme weather conditions, no matter what the season.
A truss roof system with gable ends was site-installed to provide additional support for each unit. The exteriors were finished with vertical siding to both complement the rustic setting and allow for easier maintenance and increased longevity. Each building includes ten bedrooms and a common area with a kitchen, TV room, locker room and laundry.
